Welcome to the Micro theme for Jekyll

Micro is a minimalist Jekyll theme inspired by the classic blog microsiervos.com. It is designed to run directly on GitHub Pages, with no forbidden plugins or tricks that would break the automatic deployment.

What’s included

  • A two-column layout with a sidebar, collapsing to one column on mobile.
  • Archive pages by section (category).
  • Client-side search, with no server.
  • Pagination on the home page.
  • Automatic SEO, sitemap and RSS feed.

Getting started

Edit _config.yml with your title, description and social links. Then create posts in the _posts/ folder. That’s it!

Quotes are shown with a large grey quotation mark on the left and the text indented to its right, on every line. A small but very recognisable detail. This is a sample post: delete it when you publish your own.
